The short version

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from a third party — no fonts, no maps, no trackers, no advertising tags. There is no consent banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to.

What this site collects

Nothing. These pages are static files. There is no form on this site, no account to create and no newsletter to join. If you telephone or email us, we hold what you tell us in order to answer you and to run your booking.

Our web host keeps ordinary server logs for security and reliability. Those are retained for a short period and are not used to build any profile of you.

What we hold when you stay

To take and honour a reservation we hold your name, contact details, payment card details, stay dates and any preferences or requirements you have told us about. We keep this for as long as we must for accounting, tax and legal purposes, and then we dispose of it.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Third parties

Bookings made through a travel agent, a booking site or the global distribution system reach us through those companies, and their own privacy terms apply to what happens on their side. Payment card processing is handled by our payment provider; we do not retain full card numbers.

Your rights in California

If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to delete it, to correct it, and not to be treated differently for asking. To exercise any of these, write to reservations@unionsquarehotelsf.com or call (415) 225-6600. We may need to verify who you are before we act, which is a protection for you.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes we will change the date at the top of this page. We do not send notifications about it, because we have no list to send them to.
